Stud Softball is a competitive men's slow-pitch softball organization that was established in 1997.

The name "STUD" originated as an acronym for Sports Technology Under Development, the team's original sponsor. Although the company is no longer in business, the STUD name has remained and continues to represent the organization decades later.

Today, Stud Softball fields both a Men's Open team and a Men's 50+ team, with a combined roster of more than 40 players.
